We find solutions.
Since 1840.

The great-great-grandfather operated windmills and built the machines himself. Today, Wesselmann Energie & Filtration develops systems for a wide range of complex requirements and applications worldwide.

We are engineers.
We develop solutions.
For more efficiency and lower costs.

The areas of application and requirements of our national and international customers are constantly changing. What remains constant is the standard we set for the results of our work:

We develop innovative solutions for our customers. For fluid, efficient processes.

Joann Heinrich Wesselmannn's (1803 - 1881) windmills were designed to be efficient. This is how the history of our company began with solutions for agricultural engineering.

We have been developing hydraulic and electronic control systems at our site in the northern German district of Cloppenburg since 1993. Air technology systems were added in 1998. Wesselmann Energie & Filtration is currently concentrating on ultrafiltration systems. Our innovative oscillating filtration system is the solution for the ultrafiltration of difficult-to-filter liquids.

Award from the Industrial Exhibition in Emden August 1869 for Wesselmann and Son

August 22, 1869 at the industrial exhibition in Emden, great-grandfather's chopping machine was mentioned with honor.

Think it through. Develop. Construct. Solve.

We do not reel off a standard program. We work in a development-oriented way: Our customers find with us what they have been looking for everywhere. We value solutions with substance that make economic sense and generate added value.

This also influences the way we work with our customers: always on an equal footing. Honest words are the basis for a long-term perspective, optimally fulfilled requirements and efficient solutions. Because the better we know our customers' handwriting, the faster we can find suitable solutions.

Two questions always take center stage:

  1. How can we optimize processes so that our customers save costs and increase their efficiency?

  2. How can we use or reuse what is already there - for a more environmentally conscious use of our resources?

We are constantly implementing new solutions to these questions - adapted to the current challenges of our customers. We have been working on this since 1840 with our current 50-strong team. But also with external research partners such as the Fraunhofer Institute.
