The task:
Improving animal health in stables. Efficient and energy-saving.
The solution:
The WEF warm air convector
The WEF warm air convector is the ideal heating system for chicken and turkey houses.
The WEF warm air convector ensures optimum heat distribution in stables without emissions. It is efficient, saves energy and improves animal health.
The warm air convectors are suspended centrally along the length of the barn, approx.
1-1.5 m above the animals. They can be pulled upwards under the ceiling using a manual or electric winch so that they do not present an obstacle for tractors and wheel loaders.
The barn air is extracted from the upper area of the barn and fed through a finned register, through which hot water from a heating system or a combined heat and power unit flows at the same time. The heated air returns to the barn through an air distribution unit. The air outlet is horizontal and can be adjusted in terms of air volume and flow direction using six air outlet grilles. With a throw range of 15-18 m to all sides, even stables 25 m wide can be heated evenly without any problems.
The WEF warm air convector is efficient and energy-saving.
Advantages in a nutshell
Very good, healthy stable climate
Reduction of ammonia emissions
Dry litter
Even temperature distribution in the barn
Improving animal health and increasing master results and feed conversion
Reduction in energy costs
